It should be labeled Unit 1B above it. Click on that digital session. You should be able to join the live session by clicking the green join live session button.

Task 1: Notes on Conjugates
Our last set of notes for Unit 1A are on conjugates. Notes over conjugates will go on page 18 of your notebook - this video will walk you through the notes.
Task 2: Unit 1A Review
Tomorrow we will have our first test! Complete this test review by either printing and recording your work/answers on the worksheet or by recording all work/answers on notebook paper (be sure to number it!). Place your work and final answers for the review on this form. You will need to log in with your same credentials that you use to log in to CTLS. Your review is due by 5:00 pm tonight - after 5, the answer key will be posted here. We will also send out a remind when we post the answer key.

Task 1: Review Previous Content
At the beginning of class, you will have a little bit of time to ask questions about the content that we have learned so far this semester.
Task 2: Skills Check
After you have a chance to ask your questions, you will complete this Skills Check. You will have about 20 minutes to complete the skills check and you should stay in the live session with your camera on.
Task 3: Adding and Subtracting Complex Numbers
Our first set of notes today will be over adding and subtracting complex numbers. These notes will go on page 16 of your notebook.
Task 4: Multiplying Complex Numbers
Our second and final set of notes today will be on multiplying complex numbers. These notes will go on page 17 in your notebook. If we do not finish them in class, please finish them before class on Monday.
Task 5: DeltaMath
For homework, you have an assignment in DeltaMath titled August 21st. Please be sure to complete this before midnight on Sunday night.

Task 1: Finish Multiplying Polynomials Notes
On page 13 in our notebooks, we will be finishing multiplying polynomials. These notes will cover how to multiply a binomial and polynomial.
Task 2: Simplifying Radicals
For the next topic in this class, it is crucial that you remember how to simplify radicals. It is a skill that we do not use too often in math so this video will give you a good refresher. These notes will go on page 14 in our notebooks.
Task 3: Introduction to Imaginary and Complex Numbers
The last topic we will talk about today is imaginary numbers. This video will review the notes that will go on page 15 in our notebooks about imaginary and complex numbers. We will continue to talk about this for the next few days.
Task 4: DeltaMath
In DeltaMath, complete the assignment titled August 20th. This is over multiplying a binomial and polynomial as well as simplifying radicals. If you do not finish during class time, please finish for homework.

Assignment 1: Student Survey
Complete the Student Information Survey. Answer each question the best that you can - if you are not 100% sure about something, just give it your best guess.
Assignment 2: Technology Survey
Complete the Technology Resources Survey. In this survey you will be telling me about what technology that you regularly have access to for digital learning.
Assignment 3: Set Up Your Notebook
For this class, we will keep our class notes and other resources in a composition notebook. This video will help explain and demonstrate how to properly set up your composition notebook.
Assignment 4: Numbers About Me (You)
Watch this video to see how to complete page 5 in your composition notebook. You will be coming up with some facts about yourself that involve numbers. We will have a chance for you to share some of your facts during our live session if you want to share with your peers.
Assignment 5: Polynomial Notes
The next thing that we will do in our notebook is take notes about polynomials. We will answer the question "What is a polynomial?" on page 7 in our composition notebooks. On page 8 in our notebooks, we will go over the definitions of different parts of a polynomial as well as review some examples. On page 9 in our notebooks, we will review standard form of a polynomial. Lastly, on page 10 in our notebooks, we will review naming polynomials.
Assignment 6: Join Remind and DeltaMath
Lastly, you will need to join Remind if you have not already. Directions for how to join Remind can be seen on the homepage of this blog. You will also need to join our class DeltaMath account - you can either create an account to join, or, if you already have an account that you know how to access, you can add our class to your account. Directions for DeltaMath can be found here. Once you have done both, send a message via Remind so that we know you are done!
